Amaru Hegallu Energy (Pty) Ltd trading as AHE, derived from ancient civilisation and means "experience abundance". Following the shortcomings of the power supply to the South African national grid, alternative renewable energy sources became a need. We at AHE decided to investigate the possibility of harnessing energy through bio-waste and realised that for it to be a viable alternative, large amounts of waste would be required. We identified the extent of waste collected and moved to an existing already exhausted landfill . We realised that in order to obtain the quantities of waste, we would have to ensure that the waste gets channelled entirely - AVFALLC™ was established. Our technical staff compliment consist of environmentalists (Academia), civil and mechanical engineers and our footprint is in the power/energy space where we have worked on power plants and built experience in the demand of electricity and its intricacies.
We have taken a holistic approach to energy and waste under the AHE umbrella, where we have combined waste and energy distinguishing the offerings as AVFALLC™ and Greywater Solutions™.
